“Engaged in projects of queer storytelling and meaning making, my artistic and professional work has manifested and migrated in a multiplicity of modes as necessary for the theory and questions with which I am grappling (theatre of images, physical theatre, experimental film, digital comedy series, and photography). My projects are layered, bringing my real life experience to the material, and collecting resources from my personal mythologies, meditative dreams, and everyday life.

Michael is a proud member of StartOut LGBTQ+ Entrepreneurial Network, a co-parter of 5A5B Productions LLC, an Affiliated Scholar in Kenyon College’s Department of Dance Drama and Film, and also a graduate of Northwestern University —and— The William Esper Studio, in New York City. He studied photography at The International Center for Photography (ICP).
